I bought this unit back in November 25 to replace a regular water heater for the energy efficiency and tax rebate. The only issue I've had is the energy savings mode. If you have high demand of water use the electric elements will not come on right away which defeats the purpose of having a hybrid system. I have to place it in high demand load but I won't run out of hot water when there is more demand. Everything else has been working well on the unit.

Easy enough for a DIY'er to install. App worked and connected on first try. Works as expected.

So far so good! Ensure that you have the location for a gravity fed condenser line to the drain. Otherwise, really not very loud at all, just a hum when working, and up to temperature and running fine.

Excepcional performance, plus it keeps my garage cooler. Also, the tax credit ($2,000) and my Orlando Utility Company rebate ($500) pays for the water heater. The energy efficiency ($550) per year will easily pay for the installation in 3 years. This is great investment that pays for itself in addition to lowering your energy consumption for years to come.
