I purchased these for my home back around 2005 and have been thoroughly satisfied with them. As with any mechanical device, they will wear out when used often but, Kwikset stands behind their product 100 %. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again and again.

I recently installed this lock on my back door of my home. I replaced an older
Kwikset lock so the installation was simple and it was surprisingly easy
to rekey both sides of the lock. My house has a 6 doors so I love the fact that
I can rekey them myself if necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these deadbolts to replace 15 year old Kwikset locks that were very worn. the finish is high quality and they were easy to install. What made me buy these and door knobs to match is the Smart Key technology. I installed new hardware on 4 doors and keyed all locks to my current key (8 locks total) myself. And it was easy using the provided instructions and tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have rental property as well as my home protected with this deadbolt and kwikset lever s as well. The ability to re key whenever needed is awesome, and the technology preventing picking and bumping makes me happy. At my home someone tried to enter and ruined the deadbolt. Kwikset replaced it honoring their guarantee and I was able to get a new lock installed in no time. I do all the installation and re key work myself never having to call a locksmith for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a homeowner for now 42 years and I know that stuff breaks. I replaced locks for many reasons, usually after the warranty had run out. So when I installed 16 new locks throughout the house, I knew that one or two may fail. What I did not know was about the customer service with Kwikset. Lets just say it was awesome! If you are used to getting the run around, have faith, here you get service. I send an e mail about the lock I had a problem with and they asked me to send a Photo of the broken lock and that was it. I got a new one in the mail within a week. So yes, stuff breaks, but these guys stand behind their product. I will always buy Kwikset locks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of 5 dead bolts and matching door locks in the last 8 years only 2 which the lock cylinder went bad. Replaced under warrantee I just needed to re key the new ones with the old key we are using for the rest. Done in no time. We'll worth having the smart key signature series. If I was to use the new key, all 10 locks could be keyed fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using smart key deadbolts for rentals because it is so easy to "change locks" for incoming residents
(Review imported from Walmart.com; originally posted on kwikset.com)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these deadbolts on all my doors. The Re-Key feature is awesome. I have had the product installed for several years with only one problem. I contacted Kwik-Set and the sent me a new part free with fast delivery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for over ten years now with no problem. A long lubricant now and then and it is good as nrew

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ease in which you can re-key your locks. I regularly re-key my front door so that a neighbor can gain access and feed my dogs. I would trust him anyway, but when I don't need him to have access, easy peasy
(Review imported from Walmart.com; originally posted on kwikset.com)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwik set makes this lock dummy proof with their installation instructions. They are my choice every time I need a lock for my property maintenance.
